Howdy Valricoslash!! Yes Kyle Field is getting a much needed face lift. I do think in my opinion it is a little over done and way over priced. $450 million??? I think they should have done in smaller phases. Most of the student body and parents have been speaking out against it. Have you seen any of the architectural renditions of any of the new student housing projects that are currently being built along University Dr from Texas Ave to almost College Ave. And finished BlueBell Park at Olsen Field. All will be very nice when its all complete. I just hate to see what kind of traffic jams this will cause along an already jammed up University Dr. @ Texas Ave. Like I said, its vey nice but its all just a big show piece. You have a lot of time overseas. One thing I learned from seeing other countries is that there is so much to appreciate in the USA. Most people here have no clue what it is like elsewhere. I just hope we recognize this as the same country in 4 years.

Thanks for accepting my buddy request. Welcome aboard. I certainly understand your point of view regarding how the gasoline tax is abused. Gov. Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown in CA ordered that no money be spent on roads when he was governor here in the 70s/80s. Now he is governor again, and I would not be surprised if he is using the money for anything but roads. There is not much you can do about the kids who have been brainwashed into believing what government will do for them, except to keep putting out what they really do to us rather than for us. Where did you live overseas? I spent a little over 2 years at Misawa AB, Japan along with countless deployments.
