Why is it the oil companies claim that prices are no longer driven by demand but by speculators. EXCEPT when they have a refinery problem somewhere then it is by PANIC (on their part) and isn't it strange that refineries have problems more when the inventories are up and price is down??????

A refinery glitch in Chugwater, Wyoming would cause a price spike in Two Egg, Florida.

Something smells about this article. An "overnight glitch" causing prices to rise for the Great Lakes area? We are not getting the whole story as to why the prices are higher.

We need more refineries, all running at 75% or so, so that when one has a glitch others can compensate.

Again...it's all due to Supply and Demand...Big Oil supplies the gas and Big Oil demands we pay higher prices...simple...now just bend over...this won't hurt a bit.
