What we need is for those bozo's to start using the resources that are right here already and get us off foreign energy supplies. We have more oil reserves here than all of the Mid East combined, as reported in 2008 by the USGS.

But nobody does anything about those Wall Street Speculators and Crooks who push up the future prices for absolutely no significant reason at all.

It is the Nobozobamarama (aren't I hilariously clever?!) administration's fault.
Since Obama is the only "president" to have been born outside the U.S., he alone is endowed with superpowers to affect the world market price of oil. If you graph gas prices in U.S over time, it is identical to the price in Europe, except the whole graph is translated downward due to lower taxes, which is quite right.
Now, liberal dummy heads might claim that the price in 2011 was anomalously high because of Iran war fears, but we good conservatives like txkrb know that Obama used his Krypto-Kenyan superpowers to invoke clean energy, thereby raising global oil prices, in an attempt to destroy the U.S. economy ahead of an invasion from a hostile alien force unknown.
Now he again wields his unholy powers to LOWER world oil prices before the coming election. We must not let this cynical political ploy work! Anyone but Nobedtimeforbamalamadingdong 2012!
Willard Mittens Romney with his strong record of job creation in Massachusetts and Bain capital is sure to solve all our problems WITHOUT the use of voodoo economics. Cheap gas, plentiful jobs, and he will even give us all free haircuts. Vote change in November, a change back. Willard will start where Dubya left off!

tspaldi wrote; March 2011 oil was trading at $98 give or take and gas at the pump was .50 less than now! The US oil reserves are full... This proves that the price is high because of REFINERY GREED The price of a barrel under bush in 2008 was in the $90+ range and price at the pump was under $2. The problem is not middle east tensions... It is not Hurricanes in the gulf. It BIG OIL GREED at the refinery!
While I can agree with your conclusions it would help your case if you'd get the numbers correct. Go grab the chart from gasbuddy and double check your facts because they are not correct.
